AIA recently announced that AIA New Jersey member Jerome (Jerry) Leslie Eben has been elevated to AIA Fellow.  Fellowship is AIA’s highest membership honor for their exceptional work and contributions to architecture and society.

Jerry has committed more than three decades to OUR profession and to the Institute that supports the architects and architecture across the country.  His elevation to Fellow reflects his dedication to AIA as a member, an officer and trustee of  AIA Newark and Suburban, an officer and trustee of AIA New Jersey and, AIA Regional Director. It also reflects his dedication and commitment to students and aspiring young architects around the country.

Advocacy and the next generation of architects are two of Jerry’s passions.  He has shepherded countless young architects into the profession through his mentorship.  He has been involved in career fairs throughout the State, around the country, and has spoken at numerous events about architecture.  And, through his interactions with many legislators and officials, he has tirelessly promoted AIA’s message at both the local and national levels.

Jerry will receive his Fellowship medal during the Investiture of Fellows Ceremony at the AIA Conference on Architecture 2017 in Orlando, Florida. The Investiture Ceremony will be held ‪at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2017‬. We at AIA New Jersey congratulate Jerome Leslie Eben, FAIA on this tremendous accomplishment and thank him for his dedication and service to the AIA.

Congratulations Jerry !
